『Stephen Hawking’s Snapshots of the Universe』は、イギリスの理論物理学者、スティーヴン・ホーキング博士の初の公式 iPad アプリケーションです。

各章で iPad を使っておこなう実験を通して、星の動きだけでなく地球上での我々の生活にも及んでいる基本原理について学べるようになっています。

各章の扉の下にあるアイコンをタップすると概要を表示し、実験を始めることができます。

下は太陽系ができる過程を学ぶものです。惑星を放ち、なぜ太陽の軌道を回り続けるのかを学ぶ内容になっています。

「why?」をタップすると、図版入りの解説を表示します。

実験の途中でほかの章に移る場合には、左下の「+」アイコンをタップするとメニューアイコンを表示します。
